Follow-up on assessment from October 2007. Reports on student, course, and program assessment. Several people have short reports on work they're doing. |

Catherine will lead a workshop on course evaluations (of the courses that ITA trainers teach). Here is her description of the session: "When we look at course evaluations, we are looking at what kinds of teaching we value in our programs. It would be interesting to see what kind of consensus we have as a group on what constitutes effective teaching and best practice in an ITA class, and to reflect on what kind of teaching we are modeling for our ITAs. We could then come up with a Best Practice inventory that everyone could use to create course and program assessments related to teaching." |
