New England ITA Network
The New England ITA Network was formed as a collaborative group to provide support and interchange among the various ITA Programs in the New England area. Many of us run one-person administrator/instructor programs and we felt that we needed to create links among the ITA trainers to facilitate the type of collegial exchange of ideas which is present naturally in larger programs. Our first meeting was a one-day conference at the University of Connecticut in October 1999. The goal of the meeting was to get to know each other’s programs and problems in order to decide how we might best help each other. Before the meeting information on each program was collected through an email survey and turned into a booklet for the attendees. After some clarification and editing a final reference booklet was produced which contains program and contact information for the schools whose links appear on this page. This information has been reproduced on this website to allow our colleagues in other areas to access it as well.
There are also links on these pages to information about the individual ITA programs at each of the colleges and universities who are participating in the network. Our next meeting is scheduled for
October , 2011 and will be hosted at Harvard. We hope you find our information useful, and that you will check in again in the future to see what new information we will add after our next get-together.
